Training Program Policies

While we encourage customers to attend our trainings, all attendees must pre-register for the class in order for us to have an adequate amount of food and material, and to notify you of any cancellations or postponements.

Cancellations/Changes

In order to accommodate everyone, we require that all attendees contact us by 3:00 p.m. the day before the training of any changes, i.e., cancellations or additions. Without proper notification, we can’t guarantee that walk-in customers will have materials or food, or that attendees be informed of any changes unless the above procedure is followed.

  • In-House Trainer

    You may cancel your reservation up to one business day prior to the program and receive full refund of the course fee. Anyone who fails to attend without canceling will be liable for the total cost of the class fee. Substitutions will be accepted. If Auer Steel cancels the course, you will be refunded the full course fee.

  • External Trainer

    External trainers have specific cancellation policies, therefore each class’ policy may be different. Unless otherwise noted on the reservation form, you may cancel your reservation up to one week prior to the program and receive full refund of the course fee. Anyone who fails to attend without canceling will be liable for the total cost of the class fee. Substitutions will be accepted. If Auer Steel cancels the course, you will be refunded the full course fee.

Billing

Upon registration and in advance of the program, your account will be billed the course fee. If your account is not in good standing or you do not have an account with Auer Steel we will ask you to please pay with cash, check, or credit card in advance. If Auer Steel cancels the course, you will be refunded the full course fee.

Training Library

Auer Steel has developed a training library for contractor use. This library contains installation, service, sales and product training materials which may be checked out and returned by any contractor who has an open account. Much of this material is designed to train your people, at your office or on their own time. If you would like to check out any material, please call the Training Department or contact your Auer Steel salesperson.

There will be a deposit required for the use of any training material. This fee will be the purchase price of the trainer's materials, for instance slides and/or videos. You may keep the materials which means the deposit will not be refunded or you may return the materials and your account will be credited 90% of your initial deposit. The cost of student training books will be charged to your account and you may purchase as many as you wish.
